My work is both thrown and hand built. The pieces, usually pots. are decorated with porcelain slips , which I either burnish for a smooth finish or apply over a textured surface. Using oxides, glazes and metallic lustre I then produce a rich decorative surface. I prefer to concentrate upon pattern based decoration on strong simple shapes. Each piece is fired at least three times in an electric kiln
