Gentle sounds of echoing water and tactile rocklike surfaces come together
in a series of small sculptures called 'Water Stones'.
Each 'stone' is handmade from stoneware clay, glazed and fired to a
temperature which renders it suitable for inside or outside use. A small
electric pump activates the water within each form producing a relaxing and
tranquil sound.
'Water stones' are just part of a body of sensory ceramic work by Jackie
