cocks Green is a suburb of Birmingham (in UK not USA) which has still retained a village atmosphere. It is well provided with shops and has ready access by bus or train to the centre of Birmingham.
Nearby is a railway museum at Tyseley which has a large collection of railway memorabilia, carriages and steam locomotives which are often in steam. The museum also runs courses in driving steam locos which are excellent (I know 'cos I've taken one).
The houses range in style from large Victorian ones to recent developments. Our own house was built in the 1910's and like many in the area is blessed with a large garden and outbuildings which we have turned into our pottery studio.
